Jonathan “Jack” Korte is an associate attorney based out of south Florida. Mr. Korte has previously worked in the fields of insurance, banking, and finance. Specifically, his work has focused on transactional law, regulatory investigations, FINRA arbitrations, and securities litigation. Mr. Korte has represented the interests of both regulatory agencies and private sector clients, including multinational banks, insurance companies, brokerage firms, and aggrieved investors.

His legal practice has included navigating clients through investigations conducted by the FBI, SEC, and DOJ. His plaintiff’s work has included representing investors in court and before arbitration panels in cases concerning investment fraud, EB-5 fraud, and cryptocurrency fraud. His work for governmental agencies has resulted in the leveling of record fines for money laundering violations and also civil fines and criminal penalties for violations of insider trading laws.

Mr. Korte is fluent in Spanish, having double majored in Spanish and Latin American Studies at Miami University (OH). He subsequently attended the University of Miami School of Law where he was a member of the mock trial team and served as President of the Environmental Law Society. It was at the University of Miami School of Law where he was first introduced to the field of securities arbitration, working pro bono in the University’s Investor Rights Clinic – aiding underserved claimants in suing stockbrokers and brokerage firms for misconduct, fraud, and theft.

Mr. Korte is licensed to practice law in the state of Florida and is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court – Southern District of Florida.
